Mason Austen has worked as an accountant across a variety of industries since graduating from Swinburne University in 2006. However, an ongoing passion for property has lead him to make a change from accounting, to a career that allowed his vast experience with people, numbers and property to merge seamlessly; mortgage broking.
Mason strongly believes that helping his clients to structure their financial situation is the most important part of the loan process and that setting up the right structure from the beginning is pertinent to ensuring the utmost financial flexibility for his clients’ portfolios.
His background knowledge in accounting is perfectly complemented by his ambition to help his clients find the right suite of products to suit their current needs whilst planning for their future and financial success. He forms long term working relationships by building on trust and mutual respect and ensures that he offers his clients full transparency and comprehensive information throughout any and all interactions.
In his spare time Mason is an avid cyclist and you’ll often find him racing his bike or spending quality time with his family; these are his two greatest passions outside of helping his clients achieve their financial goals.
